The factory tie rods on the Can-Am Commander are a known weak point. Hard hits, big tires, and aggressive trail riding bend and break them, leaving you stranded or fighting the steering wheel. This Heavy Duty Tie Rod Kit replaces both tie rods with straight tube construction that is significantly stronger than stock. The thicker tube walls and upgraded ball joints handle impacts that would fold a factory tie rod in half.

Straight Tube Construction
Straight tube tie rods use a uniform-diameter tube from end to end. This design is stronger than stock and handles the abuse of trail riding, rock crawling, and moderate off-road use. If you run stock-size or slightly oversized tires and want a tie rod that will not bend every time you clip a rock, straight tube is the right choice.

Upgraded Ball Joints
Each tie rod end features a heavy-duty ball joint with a greaseable fitting, so you can maintain the joint and extend its life. The hardened housing and tight tolerances eliminate the slop that develops in factory tie rod ends over time. The result is precise, responsive steering that feels tight and predictable.

Complete Kit
