4" Portal Gear Lift for the Can-Am Defender HD11
4-inch portal gear lift system for the Can-Am Defender HD11. Adds 4 inches of ground clearance at each wheel by relocating the axle below the hub center using a geared hub assembly — lifting the machine without altering factory suspension geometry, CV angles, or ride quality.
4 Inches of Additional Ground Clearance
Raises the axle centerline 4 inches below the wheel hub at every corner, clearing rocks, roots, and ruts that would otherwise catch the undercarriage. Combined with larger tires, total ground clearance gains are dramatic.
Portal Gear Reduction
The geared hub assembly provides mechanical gear reduction at each wheel, multiplying torque output and reducing strain on the drivetrain — especially beneficial for low-speed crawling through deep mud and over obstacles.
Maintains Factory Suspension Geometry
Unlike a body lift or spring spacer, portal gear lifts add clearance without changing suspension travel, shock valving, or CV joint angles. The machine rides and handles the same as stock — just higher off the ground.
Direct-Fit Installation
Designed specifically for the Can-Am Defender HD11. Mounts to the factory knuckle and hub assembly with all required hardware included.
